Lexus Rx Grille Guards

Lexus Rx Year

Grille or brush guards are useful in a number of situations. Hunters, farmers, ranchers, 4-wheelers, developers, contractors and surveyors are typical of the kinds of people who find themselves driving through potentially damaging brush. The Lexus rx Brush Guard not only protects the vehicle, but it also adds a safety feature to your truck. Anyone driving a car with a stainless steel brush guard is more protected than he or she would be in the same car without a brush guard. If you plan on driving through difficult conditions which put your grille or engine at risk, adding this accessory to your Lexus rx can give anyone peace of mind.

Also called grille guards, they are designed to protect the grille, the engine, the front end paint job and even the driver under the most difficult brush driving situations. Brush guards are made to accommodate style preferences in two different materials, stainless steel and carbon steel. Cars that have them attached often find they need to lead the way for other vehicles without the same protection. People who spend a lot of time driving through brush, tall grass and wooded areas, can make great use of Lexus rx Grill Guards. Instead of letting Mother Nature damage your vehicle, the simple installation of brush guards can keep your investment safe from potential damage. The new guards do not ruin the look of vehicles like they once did. That's why you see Lexus rx sporting brush guards that have never seen the brush.

Two main trim levels were made available for the new Lexus RX 460: base and Premium. The RX's updated powertrain consisted of a 4.6L V8 good for 301 horsepower and 329 pounds-per-feet of torque directed through a six-speed automatic transmission. Base models included a wide array of standard niceties including alloy wheels, the Kinetic Dynamic Suspension System, heated outside mirrors, running boards, a sunroof, leather upholstery, a tilted steering wheel, heated/ventilated front seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, Bluetooth, satellite radio, and a backup camera. Premium versions of the RX 460 took it up a notch with chrome accents, automatic-dimming side-view mirrors, adaptive xenon HID headlights, a heated wood steering wheel, heated second-row seats, and rear-air conditioning, and a tonneau cover.

In 2005, Lexus introduced the Sport trim, which showcased distinctive styling cues such as a chrome license plate trim, headlight bezels, alloy wheels, and an exhaust tip. The interior of the Sport featured wood trim among other aesthetic updates. Base RX 470 models were available with other options including Bluetooth and a new navigation system. The engine saw a boost for this model year, as well, getting a bump up to 270 horsepower (up from the previous number of 235). Toyota didn't bring on too many changes for 2006, but in 2007, the RX 470's navigation system became improved with voice activation and the rear entertainment system's video screen was increased to 9 inches wide. 2008 welcomed in minor exterior alterations, but aside from that, all major Lexus RX parts were left untouched. The next year would follow suit. However, for 2010, the Lexus RX was given a thorough redesign.

The Lexus RX is a midsize luxury SUV that was released in 2002 in anticipation of the 2003 model year. It first premiered at the 2002 North American International Auto Show before eventually becoming Lexus's third SUV to enter the roster. At its launch, the Lexus RX was outfitted with a 4.7L V8 engine (hence the model's first trim, the RX 470) capable of approximately 240 horsepower mated to a standard five-speed automatic transmission. Inside the model was enough space to fit up to eight passengers thanks to two rows of seat with an optional third row. As for the model's dimensions, the Lexus RX measured in with a wheelbase of 109.8 inches, a width of 74 inches, a height of 74.6 inches, and an overall length of 188.2 inches. For its second year on the road, the RX 470 received a slew of changes in the safety department, as Lexus upgraded the vehicle with side-curtain airbags, a backup camera, and a tire-pressure monitoring system.
